3rd Annual Pacific Northwest Technology Seminars and Exhibits in Seattle, WA

Security Management Professionals to Gain Knowledge, Network at Leading Industry Event
Seattle, WA. (August 31st, 2010) – Hundreds of security management professionals from around the region, along with product manufacturers and service providers, will gather at Pier 66, Bell Harbor Conference Center in Seattle, WA, Nov. 10th for the ASIS Puget Sound 3rd Annual Technology Seminar and Exhibits, sponsored by Microsoft Global Security. This is the most comprehensive education and networking event for the security industry in the Pacific Northwest.
More than 1000 professionals from all vertical industries and government sectors, from Fortune 500 companies to the Department of Homeland Security, are expected to attend. “No other regional security event attracts the numbers of practitioners and technology partners,” says ASIS International Region 1A Vice President, Kevin Klemmer, PSP CISSP. “This is the best place to meet industry peers face-to-face, share information and best practices, and discover how others are solving their security challenges in today’s complex environment.”
ASIS Tech Expo attendees will be able to pursue professional development opportunities by attending the educational sessions that address timely security technology topics. Attendees will also be able to interact with a Security Technology panel comprised of representatives from the security consulting, integration and executive community of the Pacific Northwest.
ASIS is partnering with key professional organizations that specialize in distinct aspects of security and safety to support to expand this year’s participation. Members from ISACA, IT-ISAC, (ISC)2, the International Facility Management Association, BOMA, NAIOP and the International Association of Professional Security Consultants are also expected to attend.
Nearly 100 exhibitors will showcase everything from IP technology, virtualization, biometrics, thermal imaging devices, robotics, explosives detection and much more. The exhibits, covering more than 50,000 net square feet, are open Wednesday, Nov. 10th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the exhibits is free with advance registration.
